Dallas housing market continued to remain strong in May 2016. Prices were up slightly. However, inventory levels remained relatively low, which has helped to buoy prices and days on market over the past several months. The average home price in Dallas rose to $353,065 —  up  6% from $333,235 in May 2015. Median home prices jumped 7.9% year-over-year to $288,000, according to data obtained from North Texas Real Estate Information Service.The days on market decreased by almost 6.1% compared to April.
