North Texas donated $745 million dollars to charity in 2015. That’s an average of $338.27 per household, according to geographic information system company Esri. Soutlake (zip 76092) is #3 among DFW cities.

Dallas-Fort Worth ranks eighth on the list of the nation’s 50 largest cities with a giving rate of 3.7 percent of income, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy. But some areas give more than others.
