Many of the Indians, in particular, have come to work in medicine or as software engineers, according to Nitin Gupta, a real-estate agent who has helped settle South Asian families in north Dallas over the last decade. “There’s one thing that’s unique about South Asian families,” he explained. “They want a brand-new home.”
