And there is absolutely no cost to you!
So while you are buying or selling a home, you can rest easy knowing that your agent is giving back to the causes nearest to your heart. We don't charge higher fees and we don't get to choose where the donation goes- its giving for the sake of giving...

How does the donation process work?
Actually, it’s a very simple process that starts when we agree to work with a client.
There is no cost to our clients.
Before we list a house or start looking for a new home, our client tells us where they want the donation to be made.
If we are not familiar with the organization, we verify that it is a qualifying 501(c)(3) charity/nonprofit in good standing with the federal government.
For clients who do not have a favorite charity, we recommend they consider directing their donation to one of our partner charities. All are worthy organizations!
We bring a check for the donation amount to closing and delivers it to the designated charity immediately after the transaction closes. (Donation delivery process may vary based on the charity’s desired donation process. Please review our disclaimer about donations here)

Places to Give
Donations made by us are always made at the direction of our clients. The only stipulation is that the charity or nonprofit be a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing with the federal government. The charities/nonprofits listed below have partnered with us and for clients who don’t already have a charity where they would like the donation to be made, we encourage them to consider these worthy organizations:
The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS intends to build partnerships with local, state and national organizations to help develop and support this goal.
The primary goal is to increase an individual’s self-sufficiency. Services performed by each dog depend on the needs of the owner. The following are a list of some services provided to assist disabled veterans in accomplishing daily tasks that would otherwise be difficult or impossible:
Get help in emergencies
Recognize and avert PTSD episodes
Pick up and retrieve items
Open and close doors
Provide bracing to stand, walk, and sit down
Help with chores, such as laundry
Take off shoes and socks

Disclaimer About Donations:
Donations are made at the close of escrow through a reduction in Competitive Edge Realty Agent commission. All donations are made at the clients’ discretion to a registered 501(c)3 charity, and in no way imply or constitute a relationship between Competitive Edge Realty Agents and any partner organization. The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) requires all donations to be voluntary and that no finders or referral fee will be paid to any organization.
These donations are recorded in your honor but not for your personal deduction.
If a client is not working directly with a Competitive Edge Realty Agent, and is working either through a referral from another brokerage, a Relocation Company, or other referral service, then the donation will not occur as commission is already substantially reduced. If a client has asked for a limited service listing or reduction in commission in order to negotiate terms, then the donation will not occur as a reduction in commission has already taken place. There are no donations on lease contracts.
