New Home Sales in Prosper in September 2017
September 2017 Prosper New Home Sales recorded 29 sales. The cheapest new home was sold for $314,000 and the most expensive new home was sold for $890,000. The smallest home sold was 2,100 sq. ft. and largest home sold was 5,400 sq. ft. in size. The average sales price for new homes in Prosper in September 2017 was $151 per sq. ft. compared to $141 per sq. ft. for resale homes. Average days on market for new homes was 115 days.
Low inventory of resale homes has builders scrambling to keep up with the demand. Builders don’t even have many spec homes to sell, most are under contract.
Families relocating from California and working from Toyota in Plano are buying homes in Prosper due to low prices compared to property values in Frisco & McKinney. For last few years now new home sales have been growing in Prosper Texas because the town is only 35 minutes from where Toyota, JPMorgan Chase and Liberty Mutual Insurance are locating thousands of new jobs.
