As November approaches you may have received your tax notice from the county. If your loan was set up with an escrow account your mortgage company will be paying the taxes and no further action from you is required. If you are not sure if your lender set up an escrow, give your lender a call and they can confirm.
In the unlikely event you receive a past-due notice in December or January, please give us a call and we will look into it further.
You will want to keep a copy of your property tax notice with your income tax records, as it MAY be tax deductible – check with your professional tax preparer.
