Custom construction means different builders, different finish levels, different ceiling heights and different quality of materials behind the walls, all inside one small neighborhood. Homes along the eastern edge overlook the Gleneagles course, which is a premium and a set of questions. Confirm which hole the home faces and the direction of play, exposure to errant balls, course maintenance access and hours, sight lines from the main living areas, and drainage and grading along the course boundary. Gleneagles Country Club itself, with 36 holes, tennis, a fitness center and a kids' club, sits just east, and membership is separate from home ownership.
